This past Saturday, ONE at the University of Florida participated in a community service project serving breakfast to Gainesville’s homeless population. Living in a county with one of the highest homelessness rates in the U.S., we felt the need to give back to our community.  

Besides giving our members a first-hand insight into the world of hunger and poverty, we were able to spread our mission to the other volunteers at the event. Overall, we had a great time getting to know everyone we helped and we look forward to our future community service events!
